medical skillsA trained doctor who is also pursuing a degree in botanical sciences. She's skilled at what she does, and has a focus on emergency medicine and surgery. Thera also has a strong focus on working on the field and providing support on assignments.

sign language As a result of her own non-verbal episode when she was young, and her habit of regressing to that in extreme stress, Thera is fluent in sign language. It's also something she employees with patients as well.

poison creation So yea that degree in botanical sciences - Thera, while being skilled at healing, also has extensive knowledge on poison creation to assist operatives on more covert missions. She's crafted a number that only she has an antidote for, and they range from silly, harmless things to deadly.

blue fire Her family's special variety of fire magic. It basically takes a blue colouration and burns much, much hotter than actual fire. While Thera has tight control over it, she has a habit of breathing it out when sufficiently worked up.

combat Despite being relatively soft-spoken, Thera is skilled in hand-to-hand combat and can easily crush a man with her thighs. She's also skilled in the use of firearms, especially those she can augment with her blue fire magic.

background

Born into an academic family to both parents holding doctor titles, Thera was expected to follow in their footsteps from a young age. It helped that she had a genuine interest too, aspiring to make her parents proud and so she threw herself into her studies with a great zeal. She was unaware of the more unsavoury jobs her parents took, working alongside a mercenary group her grandfather had long since been affiliated with. Unfortunately their work soon visited their home, and her parents were killed in a grizzly manner in front of her - an incident that left with no small amount of trauma, to the point she was non verbal for a few years.

From there, Thera decided that to find the killer she would be best to walk the same road her parents did - less than legal connections and all. Thera is a doctor in all sense of the word, but she also tends to those that stick to the criminal underbelly of the world; along with providing poisons for the covert operatives of the organisation she now works for. Her desire to help others is genuine and pure, but it runs alongside an unrelenting drive to find her parents killer. Too bad that will lead her to much darker depths than she imagined.
